It has been a long time since my last post.

First of all, thank you Daddy for your bark, I enjoyed the biscuit. You are very kind. I love it. It’s good to be home again although I enjoyed being with Grandma and Grandad but I miss mummy and you so very much. Anyway where are you? I could hear your voice talking to me sometime but I couldn’t find you. Mummy said you go hunting but I don’t really understand because mummy goes hunting for my food in the cupboard under the stairs too. Anyway it maybe a grownup thing.

On Thursday Grandad saw mummy gave me food and said that she gave me a lot more than he did. I was trying to give him a hint all the time I was in Alva but he didn’t listen to me. Now I can gain my weight by being a good boy for mummy. She gave me a lot of biscuits including the one at supper time. I developed this habit in Alva when Grandma and Grandad had their supper. Oh before I forget, I would like you to remind her that she didn’t give me green beans after her dinner for 2 days because she ate her dinner in front of the computer. I miss mummy’s cooking although Grandad’s food is nice. He gave me a lot of varieties, chicken, lamb, beef, and rabbit.

Yesterday when mummy and I went for a walk after dinner, we met auntie Janice and she gave me a rugby ball. Mummy promised me to play with me today but she didn’t. There were other people in the football field and she didn’t want to get embarrassing. So we played with Frisbees as usual. Before we went out to play in the afternoon, mummy worked in the garden in the sun. She told me to go inside because it was too hot for me but I didn’t want to be away from mummy so I lied down next to her and became a hot dog.

Oh well, I should get some sleep before dinner time. Mummy is now watering the garden using thing that watering the lawn. She sets the timer to beep every 15 minutes to go out and change the position which wakes me every time. Ngap ngap ngap…before the next beep…

You may notice that I haven’t written anything for more than two months. It was because I was on holidays for the whole month in April. Mummy and daddy went away to Thailand and I went to spend my quality time with grandma and granddad. This was not the first time, so I was kind of prepared. I knew it was going to happen when I saw daddy took the big suitcases out. I was not worry because I knew I would be in good hands. I love spending time with grandma and granddad. I had my chin stroked by grandma. I had 3 walks a day. I got to play with dogs in the park.

When I came back home on Thursday, I found out that I missed grandma and granddad so much although I am happy to be with mummy and daddy but I wish grandma and granddad were here with us too. I think daddy needs to buy a new bigger house so we all can be together.

When I went down to the woods I forgot about grandma and granddad for a while because of Sticky-Willy. Yum-Yum. They are not quite as young and tender as they should have been if I was here in April but I still like them a lot. So I have my salad every time I am in the woods.

Mummy and daddy went to the shop to buy more toys and a new collar for me last weekend. My new collar is quite stylish. I like the colour. The toys are a cow and fishes. So, thank you grandma and granddad.

Mummy was afraid that I will have problem with my bladder, so she came up with a solution to make me drink more water. She made me soup. I don’t get it every day though, it is only whenever she made chicken stock she would give me some liquid from the chicken stock and top up with tap water to cool it down. I love it. Then she told me if I would like more I had to pick up my soup bowl (actually it’s a plastic tub) and brought it to her. So I did and she gave me more soup. I could pick up my soup bowl and ask for more soup all day long but she didn’t let me. After 3 bowls of soup, she confiscated the soup bowl. Humph!!!.Mummy I am still dehydrated, ya know?

Smoothie is a blended, chilled beverage made from fresh fruit, fruit juice and yogurt. When mummy starts chopping up fruits, it makes my mouth water. I would come to the kitchen and waiting in case mummy clumsy and drops something which requires my assistant. Daddy gets a big glass, mummy gets a small glass and I have a tiny bit left on top of my fruits. I love smoothie. After I finished mine, I get to lick mummy’s glass. This is one of my five-a-day. What a healthy dog I am!!! Do you have yours five-a-day today?

It must be because of chasing the Frisbees like crazy in the very dry football field. It was not too big but big enough to make me uncomfortable to walk sometime, so I limped that’s why mummy noticed. So I was not allowed to play for 2-3 days.

Then on Tuesday, they took me to Alva. I sat with mummy in the back seat. I rested my head on mummy’s lap for the whole journey. When we arrived in Alva, grandma was home by herself. She has a cold which she blamed daddy for that. I could not find granddad, she said granddad went to the park with Sophie and Daniel. She said they didn’t know that I would be in Alva today. It was a surprise. About 10 minutes, I saw them walked back from the park from the windows. I barked to get their attention. I was so excited to see them. Daniel got more confidence with me than last time we met.

After lunch we all went to the park. I still was not allowed to be off the leash and that was frustrated. When we came back, Sophie spent most of the time playing with me when she did not play the computer games. Sophie and Daniel fed me that day. It was good. See photos

washed. Huh!!! On Saturday and Sunday mummy and daddy took me to Yellow Craig beach. We played in the woods there on Saturday and played on the beach on Sunday. It was very windy. The Frisbee ran so fast with a little help from the wind. I was so tired.

I have a new photo album uploaded. It is called smiles. They are shots that mummy took when I was tired after I played. They look like I smiled.

Welcome to my new website. Daddy bought me this domain name, mummy designed the website and I posed. It’s a team work. I know it is a bit later than the plan but it was because I want everything to be perfect, so I had to tell mummy to change this and that back and forth but the end result is as good as I want.

This new website consists of 4 parts at the moment. They are :

  • Kennel - equivalent to ‘Home’ in human terms. It is basically my blog where I can blether about my life.
  • Photos - my photo albums. If I don’t have something to blether, I’ll pose.
  • Contact - If you want to bark about anything, you can do it here. I am a good listener because I have 2 big floppy ears and a huge heart. It won’t cost you anything but I will earn a biscuit for every bark you make.
  • About - a little bit more about me. Find out about what I like, what I love and what I am not so keen about.

Finally, thank you mummy for all your hardwork, daddy for the domain name and technical support, Sophie for being my public relation in Tadworth and you guys for reading my blog. I hope you enjoy it.
