Because I am very bad about drinking water, I only drink when I need to. Mummy was afraid that I will have problem with my bladder, so she came up with a solution to make me drink more water. She made me soup. I don’t get it every day though, it is only whenever she made chicken stock she would give me some liquid from the chicken stock and top up with tap water to cool it down. I love it. Then she told me if I would like more I had to pick up my soup bowl (actually it’s a plastic tub) and brought it to her. So I did and she gave me more soup. I could pick up my soup bowl and ask for more soup all day long but she didn’t let me. After 3 bowls of soup, she confiscated the soup bowl. Humph!!!.Mummy I am still dehydrated, ya know?
Last week I felt a bit lonely after grandma and granddad left. I missed them already. Mummy said we will go to see them sometimes next month in which I am looking forward to. I love to play in the park in Alva, it is enormous and there are loads of dogs.
First of all I would like to say hello to Sophie. She is my cousin. Oh no, she is not a dog. Sophie is Auntie Fiona’s daughter. She commented on my last post and that’s her first time probably with a little help from granddad. Grandma and granddad are now at Sophie’s house. I wish I could meet Sophie. Anyway mummy taught me a new trick so I can show off to Sophie here. Mummy put a biscuit on my nose and told me to stay still. I had to stay balance otherwise the biscuit would slip onto the floor. She told me to stay still for about one minute and then told me to ‘Eat it‘, the cue I was waiting for was. I nodded my head to drop the biscuit on the floor and went to eat it. Yummy!! I managed to eat the biscuit before it reached the floor once but it was very difficult for a novice like me. I had to practice a lot.
Yesterday mummy was strange. Every time I put her hands in my mouth she would yelp ‘Ouch’ very loud then sulk and leave me in the room by myself. I was so confuse. I did not bite her yet but maybe she was too delicate for my sharp little teeth. She did that many times. I did not like to be alone and I did not like to see her sulk or hurt. I tried to be gentle with her. She seemed to be pleased that I understood how delicate she was. I started to understand what things that mummy did not like me to do. If I did something and she yelped and left the room, I knew that must be something that I had done and mummy did not like but sometimes it was too difficult for my little brain like mine to figure it out what I had done wrong. So she had to yelp and leave the room a few times before I could figure it out. Every time she left the room, I was very upset. I did not move and tried to focus on what I did wrong.
If you want to bark about anything please do. I am a good listener because I have two big floppy ears and a huge heart. It won't cost you anything but I will earn a biscuit for every bark you make.
