Hi everyone, I am back. I had an accident on March 4th. It was white everywhere in the wood, (snow, ya know) so I could not see what was underneath. I was also very excited about the icy, fluffy white stuff, so I ran like crazy. When it was time to go home, I sat and waited for daddy to put me on the leash. He put me on the leash and saw red bit on white snow. He was a little panic and looked at himself. Then he and I found out that my left front paw was bleeding. He tried to find out if there was anything left inside my wound, at that time I realized how hurt it was so I ran away from him like crazy again. Then I came back because he crouched down calmly waited for me. I was bleeding all the way to the house. When we were at home mummy tried to clean my paw but it stunk. When she saw my wound, she told daddy to call the V-E-T and they took me to the V-E-T immediately after that. The V-E-T told mummy and daddy to leave me with her for about an hour. Then they came back one hour later with some new toys for me. I was so sleepy and drowsy. I just wanted to sleep.

I am so sorry for neglecting my blog for a long time but if you went to read my mummy’s blog you would forgive me. It was because I was not well. I went to see the vet twice during that period. I had something which the vet said it might be “Gastroenteritis” because I vomited, had diarrhea and I did not want to eat and drink anything. Mummy and daddy had to take me to see the vet and he gave me antibiotic injections and prescript a very horrible taste liquid medicine. I hated it but I didn’t have a choice I had to take it. Mummy and daddy starved me for 24 hours. I was so hungry. I saw them ate their meals which I felt it was so cruel. I stared at mummy all the time while she was eating. I tried to present her with all my toys. I tried to do all the tricks I knew to impress her but it did not work. I did not get anything. Mummy tried not to look at me. I could see she had tears in her eyes but daddy told her that he would be crossed if she gave in. They did not let me off the leash when we went for a walk because they afraid that I would try to eat things in the wood especially when I was so hungry like that.

At 6:00 am in the morning I woke up and felt sick. I threw up a lot. Mummy and daddy got up and took me out of the crate. Daddy took me out so I could do my business. When we came back I had my breakfast as usual. About 1:00 pm I started to vomit again. It was quite a lot. I felt so tried after that. About an hour or so I woke up and felt a bit hungry but mummy and daddy gave me no food and no water. I played for a while and they put me back to sleep. I woke up in the crate (3:00 pm) and started to vomit again. This time it was yellow liquid. Mummy came down to clean up my mess and she almost threw up as well because of the smell. Mummy was so worry about me. She kept asking daddy that if I looked lethargic. Daddy said I was full of energy and apart from being sick I was normal. I was so hungry but they still did not let me eat or drink anything. Then at about 5:30 pm, I vomited again. It was so sore because it was nothing it my stomach all it came out was the yellow liquid with some white foam. Yuk!!! It tasted awful too. Daddy said I stink of my own sick. Mummy had to clean my crate and me many times. Then mummy cooked some rice for me. She gave me about 2 tbsp of the liquid from the cooked rice. I was so hungry and thirsty I licked the bowl clean in seconds. Then they gave me more. Then they gave me cooked rice. It was Thai jasmine rice. It was quite sticky for me. I did not eat much because it was boring. Actually they did not want to give me much either. They just wanted to see if I could keep the food down or not and I did. That night I went to sleep with very little food in my stomach but I did not complain.

We went to see grandma and granddad in Alva. This time we would stay overnight. Daddy took me out to do my business in the wood as usual. Then he fed me. After I ate for a while I vomited all out. Mummy came down to clear my mess. Daddy said it was because I ate too fast. Daddy was a bit worried about me. I was ok all the way to Alva. Mummy discovered when we were in the car that I lost another tooth beside the one that I lost last night. Grandma and granddad were delighted to see me. After lunch we, granddad, mummy, daddy and I, went out for a walk. I was off the leash in the park. I ran around both sides of the path. Daddy threw the ball for me to fetch. I met Lesley and she trimmed the end of my tail because it looked untidy.

Friday

Daddy was not working on Friday. Mummy and daddy put me in the crate for my morning nap and they were away for shopping. This was the first time since I have been here that they went shopping together. I was ok in my crate because I was so sleepy and they did not go for a long time. In the afternoon we went for a long walk to Winton House. It was nice and sunny when we started but when we were on the way back it came on rain and it was very heavy rain I ever experience in my life. (I was only 14 weeks old yesterday.) Mummy and daddy had to stop under the tree. I had upset stomach I tried to eat everything around where we stopped. So daddy decided to move on in the heavy rain hoping to be home soon. Then I needed to do my #2 again and this time it was very liquid. Finally we were home. I was soaking wet. In the evening I was not quite myself, I was trying to bite leaves, twigs and pine cones when I went for another walk with mummy. She was quite worry about me and my stool was not quite right.
