Last week mummy and daddy let me walk off the leash in the wood. I liked it a lot. I sniffed around along both sides of the path. Daddy would whistle to call me back or tell me to move on when I stopped too long. I started doing my business in the wood. Actually I am not a fussy boy I can do my business anywhere but not in the house or crate. If I needed to do my business when I was in the house I went to the door and knocked on the metal leash to make a noise so mummy or daddy would know. If there was no leash at the door, I would make a noise myself by whining.

On Saturday mummy and daddy took me to Alva. It was a long way in the car but it did not bother me because mummy sat with me in the back so I could chew my chew stick on her laps. Then I went to sleep in my old crate. The crate was too small for me now but it still gave me the secured feeling inside. Mummy did not close the door so my head was almost on her laps while the rest of me was in the crate.

I have been with mummy and daddy for almost 4 weeks and I am 11 weeks old yesterday. I am so happy to be here. I have my own bedroom (crate), three meals a day, toys, and loads of snacks, treats and chewing stuff. I know that my name is ‘Pepper’ but sometime mummy and daddy called me different name i.e. Pep, Pepsi, Peppery, Peppermint, munchkin, big fat lump and the black horrible thing or black horror.

Today I am 10 weeks old little puppy. I have to go to see the V-E-T for my 2nd vaccination in the evening. Mummy was busy painting today. She did not play with me as much as usual. We had short-sessions training with me every time she took me out to pee/poop. She tried to practice ‘Roll Over’ again and again. I could do it, let’s say 70-80% of her commands. Not bad, huh?

Yesterday mummy was strange. Every time I put her hands in my mouth she would yelp ‘Ouch’ very loud then sulk and leave me in the room by myself. I was so confuse. I did not bite her yet but maybe she was too delicate for my sharp little teeth. She did that many times. I did not like to be alone and I did not like to see her sulk or hurt. I tried to be gentle with her. She seemed to be pleased that I understood how delicate she was. I started to understand what things that mummy did not like me to do. If I did something and she yelped and left the room, I knew that must be something that I had done and mummy did not like but sometimes it was too difficult for my little brain like mine to figure it out what I had done wrong. So she had to yelp and leave the room a few times before I could figure it out. Every time she left the room, I was very upset. I did not move and tried to focus on what I did wrong.
